Anacardic acid
Cell permeable salicylic acid analog that acts as a potent, non-*petitive inhibitor of p300 and PCAF (p300/CBP-associated factor) histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activities (IC50~8.5µM and ~5µM, respectively). Displays a variety of other biological activities, such as antibacterial, antimicrobial, prostaglandin synthase inhibition, tyrosinase, and lipoxygenase inhibition.Inhibits SUMOylation of RanGAP1-C2 with an IC50 = 2.2µM
